Message from the Chairman

“As Chairman, it is my pleasure to introduce you to the newly formed Blue Dog Research Forum. So many of us watch and believe that Congress may be in crisis, that its tone and tenor must improve to be more effective and speak for and to the vast majority of Americans. The goal of the Blue Dog Research Forum is to embark on dialogue about this issue, to challenge ourselves to make Congress work differently. Only by embracing a more cooperative, common sense course of governing will Congress be able to tackle our biggest fiscal challenges. The Blue Dog Research Forum hopes to capture this centrist approach through our endeavors.”
