Event FormatBlue Dog Research Forum discussion dinners are an opportunity for prominent policy experts to engage BDRF members, Members of Congress, and guests on crucial national issues. The guest policy expert addresses the attendees before the entrée is served thereby encouraging table conversations over dinner. After dinner the guest speaker will lead the group in answering questions and discussing possible solutions to the issue at hand. Discussion dinners are limited to approximately 50 attendees to promote intimate and candid conversation. It is the policy of BDRF to never publicize the discussion aspect of the event in a way that would identify any of the attendees in order to encourage honest engagement and participation. These events are an essential part of BDRF’s commitment to fostering bipartisan conversation on centrist solutions to the key challenges facing the nation. |
